LeBlanc & Newell, LLC was established as a full service CPA firm to serve the tax, accounting and consulting needs of individuals and small businesses in the Providence area. We strive to strike the perfect balance between small, local, attentive service and professional experience and expertise.

Robert LeBlanc and Roberta Newell
Robert J. LeBlanc, CPA, Partner
With more than twenty-five years experience in accounting and taxation, Bob earned his B.S. degree in Accounting at Roger Williams College. Bob began working for the Internal Revenue Service, but the majority of his career has been in the private sector working with businesses and their owners. His career in public accounting began working at KPMG in Providence, Rhode Island. His expertise includes working with innovative start-ups, established high-tech giants, and local Rhode Island businesses. As a small business advisor he has employed new technology to support expansion initiatives, as well as helped many local and national businesses grow and prosper. Bob is also knowledgeable in computer and other high technology, so he provides information that is accurate, and state of the art.

He is a member of the Rhode Island Association of Public Accountants, and the AICPA. Bob and his wife Hanne reside in East Greenwich, RI with their three children.
Roberta I. Newell, CPA, Partner
Roberta has been practicing public accounting for more than fifteen years working with both small business and individual clients. She has developed a specialty in the area of college funding, assisting clients with all aspects of the process. Roberta's strengths lie in her ability to work with clients and provide a high level of service. She is also actively involved on the Board of a non-profit organization where she has served in various roles including Treasurer and President.
Roberta is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where she received her Master's Degree in Accounting. She received her CPA certification in 2001 and was awarded the Nicholas Picchione Gold Award by the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants for receiving the highest score on the CPA exam that year.
Roberta currently is a resident of Warwick, RI with her husband and three children.
